The
Frequencies National Agency accomplishes the following missions: |
|
| |
Set up the national plan
for radio-electric frequencies in coordination with the competent
organisms; |
| |
Manage the national plan
for radio-electric frequencies in coordination with the competent
organisms; |
| |
Exert control over the
technical conditions of the radio-electric equipments and ensure
the protection of the use of radio-electric frequencies. |
| |
Ensure that the utilization
of radio-electric frequencies is in conformity with the authorizations
and the records of the frequencies Registry; |
| |
Ensure full application
of the agreements and international treaties in the radio- communications
field; |
| |
Register the radio-electric
frequencies within the competent international authorities; |
| |
Ensure the preservation
of national interests in the field of using registered radio-electric
frequencies and the orbital positions reserved to Tunisia; |
| |
contribute to research,
training and studies activities related to radio- communications.
And in general to any other activity it could be entrusted with
by the supervising body, within is field of intervention;
The agency is submitted to the supervision of the ministry in
charge of Telecommunications.
